Vent: I started checking for fake eye blinks and forgot real people blink weird too

The "forgot real people blink weird too" part got me because I literally did the same thing last month after falling down a rabbit hole about deepfake detection. There was this study I read about how people are actually terrible at spotting AI faces, like worse than random guessing in some tests. Turns out the stuff we think are tells, weird blinking and odd shadows, happen with real humans all the time. So now I just assume everything is fake and nothing is, which is probably not the healthy way to live lol.
