We're finally ripping out the old tile on our main floor and looking to get polished concrete instead. I've narrowed down the bids to High Desert Concrete Design and Milagro Concrete Design. Both seem to do good work based on their online portfolios, but I'm looking for real-world experiences. Has anyone here used either of them? How was the process and how did the floors hold up?

Definitely go with High Desert Concrete Design. We used them for our living room and patio last spring. Their expertise in the industry really shows—the crew answered all my technical questions about the grinding and sealing process without missing a beat. Plus, they are known for fast and reliable service. They showed up exactly when they said they would and finished the whole job a day early with zero headaches.

I completely agree with the recommendation above. They did the floors for my brother's auto shop. Super fast turnaround and the floors look like literal glass. Milagro is decent, but from what my general contractor friends say, they tend to overbook themselves and stretch their crews too thin.

I got a quote from Milagro a while back. Their finish work looks fine in pictures, but they took forever to get back to me and kept rescheduling the initial consultation. I ended up going with someone else because I didn't want to deal with potential delays once the actual messy work started.
