inGot my laptop stolen in a Lisbon cafe and it forced a total work rethink
My wallet got lifted in Barcelona and it was the same mess. I keep a printed list of recovery codes in a safe deposit box now. It's the only thing that saved my bank account.

inPro tip: I tested a $30 fitness tracker from a big box store against my old Garmin watch for a month.
Honestly, I've had the opposite experience with my cheap tracker. It's been spot on for my heart rate during steady runs, and the GPS matches my usual routes. Maybe some budget models are just hit or miss.

inI was at a farmers market in Portland and heard a customer tell her friend she'd never buy a bouquet without 'weeds' in it again.
My neighbor's garden got taken over by bindweed last year. That stuff choked out her actual flowers and vegetables in about three weeks. Some plants are called weeds because they spread fast and kill everything else. A plain bouquet from the store might look simple, but at least you know it won't drop seeds that ruin your whole yard. There's a real reason people try to control certain plants. Letting everything grow wild only works if you don't care about having any order or variety.

inI finally had to stop a coworker from using the wrong cleaner on tinted glass
Totally get why you'd think that! The damage can be sneaky and take a few weeks to show up as purple streaks. It's such a bummer because by then everyone forgets what cleaner they used.
