Used to swear by dark paint for desert houses until last summer

Switched to a light reflective coating after my neighbor in Phoenix showed me his 15 degree cooler attic, anyone else make that swap and notice a difference?

Made the exact same switch last year and my AC barely runs until late afternoon now. Went with a ceramic coating on the roof and the difference in upstairs temps was noticeable within days. Best money I ever spent on that house, hands down.

Roof coating is a game changer and more people should try it. Why fight the heat from the outside?
