Saw something weird at a fleet shop in Phoenix last Tuesday

I was visiting a friend's shop out near the airport and noticed they had all their injectors laid out on a magnetic board with labels. Never seen that before, but it made pulling the right part way faster. Has anyone else tried something like that for organizing?

all their injectors laid out on a magnetic board with labels" - yeah, that sounds pretty slick actually. Were they using those heavy duty magnets you'd see in a machine shop, or just standard magnetic strips? I've tried labeling bins before and they always end up mixed up after the first busy week. Curious if the magnet setup held up long term or if it was more of a showpiece for the shop floor.

The shop was using those heavy-duty magnetic bars (the kind with the rubber coating) and it held up way better than bins ever did, even after a few months of daily abuse. If you try it with @kimw57, just make sure to wipe the injectors clean first, or the grime will kill the magnetism.
