The hidden valve on fuel filters that everyone misses

I kept having prime issues after filter changes on a 2015 Freightliner until a shop foreman pointed out the tiny manual vent on top. It took me 6 months of fighting air locks to realize it was right there under the dust cover.

Oh man, my buddy had the exact same headache with his 2015 Pete. He spent a whole afternoon cussing and bleeding the system over and over before his dad came over and pointed to that little valve like it was nothing. We still give him crap about it every time filters come up.

Laughing at your buddy's pain. Wish I could say that's a rare story, but pretty sure I've heard that same exact dad-saves-the-day thing at least a dozen times over the years.
