Skin tones got way better after I stopped using auto white balance
I've been doing digital portraits for about 2 years now and my skin tones always looked a bit off until last month. Switched to a custom WB setting using a gray card during a shoot at my friend's studio in Austin and the difference in the before/after was wild. Anyone else find that just changing WB fixed more of their color grading than any brush work?

Gray cards only help if you lock in the same light, otherwise you're chasing your tail.
