My buddy told me my desktop had more icons than a Best Buy display model
He wasn't wrong, I had 47 shortcuts just sitting there from stuff I downloaded once in 2021. I finally deleted all of them last weekend and now I actually know where my recycle bin is. Has anyone else had that wake-up call from a friend walking by your screen?

and see, I gotta ask - how many of those 47 were duplicates? like you had three different versions of the same PDF reader or two copies of some random driver update tool from 2019 that you were scared to delete because you thought your computer would explode? I cleaned my desktop a few months back and found five separate folders all named "random stuff" with the exact same files inside, just scattered across different corners of the screen like some kind of digital hoarder art project

How many of those folders had names like "new folder (2)" that you KNOW you created while half asleep at 2am?
