Just watched a guy in a Chiang Mai cafe try to work with a single 13-inch laptop screen for eight straight hours

He was constantly flipping between his design program, a spreadsheet, and his browser, and it looked like pure torture (and a sure way to burn out). I tried to gently suggest a portable monitor, but he just shrugged and said 'I'm used to it.' Has anyone else seen this and found a good way to convince people that a basic second screen is a game-changer for sanity?

Lol, tell that to @taylor_patel's focus, my eyes hurt just reading this.

Watch him squint at that tiny screen while dragging windows around like he's solving a puzzle. I bet he's got twenty tabs open and his taskbar looks like a crowded subway car. How do you even think straight when your reference photo is the size of a postage stamp? Some people just love their own personal brand of pain, I guess.

Honestly I used to feel the same way as you @rowan_reed68, but then I tried working on a small laptop for a week while traveling. Having everything in one small spot somehow forced me to focus better, no joke. My main screen feels too empty now and I get distracted.
