That checkout girl in Medellin who questioned my whole setup

I was buying groceries at Exito in Medellin like 5 months ago, living my best nomad life. The cashier, maybe 19 years old, asked why I was buying so many single serving things instead of real food. I told her I was traveling and she just goes 'so you don't actually live anywhere?' It hit me weird, like she saw through the whole glamorous digital nomad thing. Do you guys ever feel like locals see this lifestyle more clearly than we do, or am I overthinking one random comment?

Wait, Medellin is in Colombia not "Medellin, Spain" or wherever. But real talk, that girl wasn't wrong - you could be living out of a suitcase forever and people see right through it.

Haha, c'mon, is it really that deep though? People travel and crash on couches all the time, @the_alex's buddy made it six months without anyone caring. If you're having a good time and not hurting anyone, who's actually keeping score?

Buddy of mine crashed on my couch for six months before anyone noticed.
