Found out my grandpa's old pipe wrench was worth $200

I was skeptical when a buddy said those old stillsons at estate sales can go for real money, but I checked the date stamp and sold it for $200. Anyone else find stuff in the garage you thought was junk that turned out valuable?

My brother in law used to laugh at me for hanging onto old tools. Told me I was a hoarder. Then last spring I had a 1930s Stanley level my granddad left me. Looked like junk, all beat up and missing the vial. I almost threw it in the scrap bin three times. Listed it on eBay on a whim for fifty bucks. It sold in four hours for three hundred and twenty bucks to a collector in Ohio. That changed my mind real quick about what's worth keeping around.

Brought my dad's old hand plane to a guy who restores them for a hobby. He told me it's a rare wartime model worth way more than I thought. Now I'm scared to even look at my toolbox wrong.
