Pro tip: Don't buy the cheap corner bead from the big box store

I tried to save $50 on a big job by using their store brand. It was so thin and flimsy I wasted a whole afternoon fixing waves and dents. What's your go-to brand for metal bead that actually stays straight?

Feel your pain on that cheap bead. I had the same thing happen last fall, trying to save a few bucks on a garage project. Every piece had a little bow in it, and by the time I got it up, the wall looked wavy. I see wade_kelly77 got lucky, but that thin metal just bends if you look at it wrong. My go-to is the heavier stuff from the actual building supply place, even if it costs more. It lays flat right out of the bundle and saves so much headache.
