I finally had a client ask for a facial while her pet parrot watched from her shoulder

This was at my small studio in Dayton last Thursday, and the bird kept squawking every time I used the steamer. She insisted he was her 'emotional support animal' and he needed to stay, so I had to work around a very curious bird trying to nibble my extraction tools. Has anyone else had a truly wild animal request during a service?

Covered my tools with clean towels to keep the beak away.

That reminds me of the time a crow stole my entire sandwich at a picnic.

What makes you so sure it was a crow, adam919? Those birds are smart but they usually go for smaller stuff. I've seen seagulls do that exact move, they're way more bold about grabbing whole food. A crow might peck at it but a gull will just take the whole thing without a second thought.
