The whole 'AI is stealing our jobs' panic feels like a rerun of the robot scare from 2015.

Spent 3 hours reading articles about how AI will end creative work. Then I saw the same writers posting their new e-books online. It's just noise to get clicks. Anyone else tired of this cycle?

People forget how much new work automation creates. Every time a tool gets popular, we need more humans to fix it, sell it, and explain it. The panic articles are just content for the new "AI explainer" industry that's hiring right now. It's the same old story where the warning signs become someone else's paycheck.

My local news did a segment on self-checkout killing jobs. The reporter used a clip from 2005 about ATMs doing the same thing. It's the same script every ten years.

Read three of those articles before I remembered I'm a graphic designer. Guess I'm the problem. Jenny_lane12 is right, they're just making jobs for people who explain why my job is gone.
