That portable blender ad with the frozen fruit cubes is a total lie

I saw this viral ad for a portable blender that promises to crush frozen fruit into smoothies in 30 seconds. Bought one for $40 off Instagram last week. First try with frozen strawberries and almond milk, it just spun the blades and made a loud grinding noise. The motor burned out after three uses. Anyone else fall for one of these cheap blender scams?

Did you try contacting customer support or just toss it?

@karen_carter honestly I think contacting support is a waste of time most of the time. They always give you the runaround or tell you to do something you already tried. Sometimes it's just quicker to cut your losses and move on.

Yeah customer support and I have a special relationship - I spend 45 minutes on hold just to be told to try turning it off and on again, which I already did twice before calling. Guess I'm just a glutton for punishment.
