The week the CDC said masks were useless then changed it - which side do you buy?

Back in early 2020 they told everyone not to wear masks, then flipped hard a few months later. Was that just a supply chain move to save N95s for hospitals or a straight up lie that cost lives? What's your take on that whole debacle?

Bro, seriously? Supply chain panic? I get that there was some panic buying, but the whole N95 thing was way more than that. Remember when the CDC literally told us not to wear masks, then flipped the script a month later? That mixed message caused half the chaos, not just people being panic hoarders. So do you really think the manufacturing issues were fake news too, or just the public overreacting?
