I finally had to draw the line at bedazzled horseshoes

She wanted bedazzled shoes for her show horse, but I worried about the adhesive. I mean, it was a tough call since she was so set on it.

Ugh, my friend went through something similar with rhinestones on polo wraps. The whole thing just peeled off after one ride and made a huge mess.

The heat-set kind worked way better for me, @knight.joel, when I had that same peeling problem.

I used to swear by the glue-on rhinestones because they seemed easier. But then I had a TOTAL disaster at a show where everything fell off my boots. Someone suggested heat-set crystals, and I was skeptical. After trying them on my polo wraps, the difference was UNREAL. They stayed put through multiple washes and rides without any peeling. Now I won't use anything else for tack decorations.

So heat-set is the way to go, huh? I should have listened to @nathan_palmer sooner instead of trying to glue stuff on like a kindergartener with a glitter project.
