Hot take: I just realized my wardrobe has 27 identical black t-shirts
Honestly, I was clearing out my closet last week and started counting them after the third stack, all from different fast fashion hauls over the last five years. Ngl, it hit me that I've been chasing the same 'perfect basic' for years, buying a new one whenever the last one got thin or misshapen. Has anyone else hit a number like that and realized how much it adds up?

More than twenty-seven" is the whole story of modern shopping. We have too many choices and it makes simple things hard. The perfect shirt gets lost in all the noise.

Hang on, twenty-seven black shirts? That seems low honestly. I think I bought like fifteen different black t-shirts last year alone and only two of them actually survived the first wash without turning weird or shrinking up. The real problem is that "black" isn't one color, it's like a hundred different shades of almost-black from different brands.
