Just finished my 100th cedar fence install in this town
I was looking over my books last night and the number jumped out at me. That's 100 cedar fences in just this one town over the last five years. I remember the first one was a nightmare, took me three days and I messed up the post spacing. Now I can knock out a basic run in a day. It's wild to see how much you can improve without even noticing. Anyone else hit a number that made them stop and think?

That's a solid milestone right there. It's crazy how the muscle memory just takes over after a while. You stop thinking about every single nail.

Read an article once about how our brains actually rewire themselves for repetitive tasks. They said it's like creating a shortcut so you don't have to consciously process every step. Like when you drive home and realize you don't remember the last few turns because your brain was on autopilot. Your hands just know what to do with the hammer after enough practice.

Totally agree, it's wild when your hands just know the drill. For me, that click happened after my third deck build.
