Gave up on eyeballing plank spacing, now I use spacers every time

I stopped trying to judge gaps by eye and began using spacers for every row. My floors look straighter and clients are happier. What tricks do you use for even spacing?

lol same, tried to wing a miter cut once and it was so off. Bought a square the next day and never looked back.

Yeah I was the same with trying to guess angles for cuts. Got a cheap speed square and it's a total game changer, lines up perfect every time.

Honestly it's wild how much time I wasted trying to eyeball stuff. That little square is like five bucks and saves so much headache on every single cut. My projects actually look decent now instead of having those weird gaps lol.
