My uncle told me to always charge for the edit, not just the shoot
I thought it was greedy when I started out, but after a $500 wedding video edit took me 15 hours, I finally get it. Anyone else learn this the hard way?

How do you even price that? I had to start charging by the hour for edits after a few jobs just ate my whole week.

Forty-seven rounds of copy changes is a special kind of nightmare. I'd have started billing by the word on round three, or maybe just sent back a single, heavily corrected comma.

Wait, you were doing full project pricing before? That's like signing a blank check. I got burned once on a website that needed forty-seven rounds of copy changes. Never again.
