Bought a $30 phone gimbal that made my vacation videos look pro

I got it for a trip to Seattle last month, thinking it would be a cheap gimmick. After a few shaky test clips, I figured out the follow mode and the difference was huge. My walking shots look smooth now, not like a shaky mess. Anyone have tips for keeping the battery from dying so fast?

Ugh, the battery life on those things is the worst... mine barely lasts an hour. A portable power bank is basically glued to mine now.

Mine actually holds up pretty well, elliot_roberts. I get a solid afternoon out of it before I even think about a charger. Maybe you just got a bad unit.

Actually, battery tech has come a long way lately. My own device gets me through a full workday without any trouble. Maybe it depends on the model or how it's set up.
