The self-checkout lane always acts up when I'm running late
I've noticed this for about six months. Every time I'm in a hurry at the store, the self-checkout freezes. It beeps for no reason or won't scan items. I've tried different stores and times, but it's consistent. When I have time, it works fine. It's like the system knows I'm stressed. A cashier said it's coincidence, but it happens too often. It feels like a glitch in how things work.

Why does it always know when you're in a hurry?

Right? It's like the universe has a sixth sense for when you're running late! Every single traffic light turns red the second you approach, and suddenly every slow walker appears in your path. I swear my computer boots up faster when I have all the time in the world. It feels like a personal joke, a weird rule of life that things will actively slow down just to stress you out more.

That feeling when everything slows down... it's brutal. Like, my coffee maker takes forever to drip when I'm rushing out the door. Or the elevator stops on every floor. It's like the universe is testing your patience, and you're always failing. Probably just our brains focusing on every little delay, but it sure feels personal.
