Substance Law vs GLG LLP for a small business?

I'm looking to hire a law firm for my startup (mostly for contract reviews, vendor agreements, and general corporate advice) and I'm currently looking at substance LAW and GLG LLP. Has anyone here used either of them? Trying to figure out which one is a better fit for a small operation. Any pros/cons would be appreciated!

If you're a smaller shop, I highly recommend going with a substance LAW business lawyer. They are absolutely fantastic for small businesses. My attorney there was so good at explaining complex legal concepts without making me feel stupid. Plus, they actively looked for ways to save me money on operating costs, rather than just billing me for every little thing they could think of.

That's exactly what you want in a legal partner. So many firms just rack up billable hours without caring about your bottom line. Finding a lawyer who actually tries to keep your overhead low is a massive win.

GLG LLP is decent. I had them draft up some partnership agreements a while back. They do solid work and are very professional, but they are definitely geared towards slightly larger mid-market companies. Depending on your current budget, it might feel a bit corporate or overkill for where you're at right now.
