Just crossed 100 engine swaps in my home garage, never thought I'd get there

Push back a little here - 6 hours for a Honda swap means you're either skipping critical steps or you've got the process memorized to the point where it's less a swap and more a robot routine.

Had a crazy good Saturday where every single order came out perfect

Oh wow, yeah I used to just eyeball it with stems and hope for the best. I mean I always thought soaking them overnight was overkill, like why bother if they're fresh. But then I had a big arrangement for a funeral and half the flowers were droopy by the next morning, it was a mess. Now I soak the tougher stems for like 8-10 hours and it makes a huge difference, especially with things like hydrangeas or sunflowers.

Vent: Had a huge rock right where a post needed to go on a job in Boulder.

My buddy tried this outside of Lyons a few years back on a job near the St. Vrain River. He drilled into this big granite boulder, set the post with concrete, and everything looked solid. Then about eight months later, the freeze-thaw cycle cracked the rock right down the middle and the post shifted about four inches. He had to rip the whole thing out and start over with a digger. I guess it really depends on the kind of rock and how deep the water can get in the cracks around it. That Boulder sandstone might be more forgiving than granite in that way.

Hit 200 days of staying in hostels under $30 a night and my record is a tiny town in Romania for $8.

Call it legendary if you want but it wasn't that deep. I just needed a place to sleep and eat. @ruby659 your Laos place sounds rough but at least you had a bucket, I had a shower head that sprayed in three directions and none of them were down. The rooster thing was annoying but I got used to it after week one, honestly the wifi dropping out was way worse. People act like spending 200 days cheap traveling is some kind of survival test. You just find a routine and roll with it.

Update: My chicken wings were always soggy until I saw a comment about cornstarch

You ever try tossing the wings in a tiny bit of baking powder instead? It works way better than cornstarch and you don't have to measure anything fancy.
