My sister swore the rumors about that actor's secret wedding were fake, but then the pics dropped.
She said it was just PR for his new show, but People magazine had the exclusive photos from the ceremony in Italy. Anyone else have a source they trusted who got a big piece of gossip totally backwards?

My friend's mom swore up and down that rumor was false.

Honestly, who cares if a celebrity's wedding was secret or not. It's just pictures in a magazine. People get so worked up about being right or wrong on gossip, but it doesn't change anything. Your sister being wrong about some actor's personal life is not a big deal. It's just entertainment news, not something that actually matters.

People get so defensive about it too, like their whole identity is wrapped up in being the first one to know some random detail about a celebrity they'll never meet. It's just gossip, the same stuff you'd hear about your neighbor's cousin's friend but with better lighting. The energy people put into being "right" about this stuff could be used for way more important things, like arguing about movies or TV shows that actually matter. At the end of the day, nobody's life changes whether that wedding was secret or not, so why let it ruin your mood or your phone?

My buddy got so mad he broke his phone over a debate about a singer's fake baby.
