inPSA: I swore off grid patterns for storefronts until a client insisted
Yeah I always thought that was overkill till I tried it on my deck rebuild. @the_lily is totally right, marking each board one by one was killing my time. The stick got all the post sleeves cut perfect in one go. Changed my whole workflow now.

inThat click when a three-way switch finally makes sense
Man, that's such a good feeling. Honestly, it happens with stuff way smaller than wiring too. It's like your brain finally builds the right shortcut for a task you do all the time. Tbh I had that moment just the other day finally knowing which way to turn the knob to open my weird kitchen cabinet without thinking.

inMy sore back story from a Viking age excavation
Totally get the moving around thing, man. Last summer I was so locked in on a pottery scatter I missed a perfect bead literally under my trowel handle. Tessa's right about how we miss the obvious next to us, it's wild. My neck was killing me from being hunched in one spot all day.

inSerious question, ever had a client push you to adjust a boundary marker?
Seen that, @robert_kelly38. My neighbor's shed never moved back.
