Oh man I feel this. What saved me was making one snack drawer in the fridge with cut veggies or fruit in closed Tupperware, @beth147. If I want to mindlessly graze, that's the only option. Keeps the cracker boxes out of sight and makes me actually think before I eat.

It's WILD how often people ignore safety gear. Your neighbor with the glass is a PERFECT example of that 'it won't happen to me' attitude. Makes you wonder what other risks they're taking CASUALLY.

There's this weird habit we all have where we ignore tiny warnings until they blow up in our faces. Like how I'll see a crack in my phone screen and just live with it until the whole thing shatters during a drop. It's the same with car stuff, where a simple check engine light turns into a nightmare repair bill. We always think we're saving time by putting it off, but it always costs more later, lol.
