A friend roasted my 'AI content' and it made me actually learn how to use the tools.

Honestly, seeing a local coffee shop in Cleveland replace all their wall art with AI prints this weekend really got me thinking.

Shoutout to the simple pencil gauge for drawer fronts

My Milwaukee drawer front jig is way faster than any pencil gauge.

My studio's furnace went out right before a big custom order

That "babysit it with a pyrometer" story from @paige166 is why I keep a spare motor for my wheel now.

Just saw a guy trying to fix a Leica with a butter knife at a flea market in Austin

That was an M2, not an M3.

Reminds me of the Giant's Causeway in Ireland. Those basalt columns look like a giant's staircase going into the sea. The local legend says a giant built it to fight a Scottish giant, which is way more fun than the actual geology explanation. Makes you wonder who came up with the first story about those weird rocks.

I ran into that guy from the 'distracted boyfriend' meme at a gas station in Tempe last year.

That meme is from like 2017, so that's a pretty wild claim. How could you even be sure it was the same guy after all this time? People see lookalikes all the time, especially for some random stock photo model. Tempe is a big place, what are the actual odds? It just sounds like someone wanting a story more than anything real.
