inSeeing an archive team expose private data changed my view
Check my old posts for anything too personal. Found a rant about a family fight that should have stayed private. Deleting that stuff felt like taking out the trash.

inForgot to cancel a free trial and turned it into a budgeting lesson
Yeah, the "multiple reminders" thing is smart. What I started doing is putting the actual cancel date in the reminder note itself, because sometimes I'll see the alert and think "oh I have time" and then forget again. So my phone might say "Cancel Netflix trial - do it by the 15th!" right on the notification.

inPSA: A client's basement in Cincinnati taught me about humidity and shellac
My buddy's guitar got left in his car overnight during a heat wave. Opened the case and the neck had warped so bad it looked like a bow.

inUpdate: Tried a new sealant on a commercial door and it failed fast
Maybe it wasn't just the heat. Fast cure silicones can be brittle by nature, so they often crack under movement. You might need a more flexible product regardless of the climate.

inThat time a customer brought in a 'muzzleloader' that was just a piece of pipe and a nail
My uncle had a similar piece of junk pipe he called a shotgun, and I believed him for years. I was a kid and just took his word for it. Then I started working at a range and saw what real black powder guns look and feel like. It totally changed how I see those old family stories. Now I get why you had to show him a real one, some folks just have no frame of reference. That 1972 line is amazing though, like what even happened that year with a pipe and a nail.
