Tried that viral 'forget me not' flower pressing trend from TikTok and the petals just turned brown after 3 days in the frame
Used a $12 microwave press from Amazon and followed the 30 second heating trick exactly, but the moisture must have trapped in because they molded by Tuesday, has anyone else had better luck with silica gel instead of the paper towel method?

@fisher.thomas you'd think that until you forget a birthday or an anniversary and realize those "just flowers" were actually the only thing saving you from sleeping on the couch for a week...
Trust me, flowers are basically relationship armor. Miss a date or say something dumb, and a bouquet can smooth it over faster than any apology ever could. It's not about the flowers themselves, it's about showing you remembered and cared enough to do something.
Plus, they work for everything - apologies, congratulations, or just because. Keep a backup plan handy, you'll thank me later.

Wait, isn't this just like everything else on social media where the simple looking "hack" skips all the actual important steps that make it work? I've noticed that trend with recipes, cleaning tips, and now apparently flower pressing too.
