Rant: I thought AI art was okay until I saw how it uses artists' images without permission.

After trying a digital art tool, I get why artists feel ripped off by AI systems.

My friend showed me this AI tool that could copy her whole art style in like two minutes. It pulled from a bunch of small artists' public portfolios without any credit. Felt super gross, like watching someone steal a bike and then sell it. She works for years to get good and a machine just takes it. Really killed the whole idea for me.

Doesn't it feel messed up how AI uses art without asking? Those artists put in real work to make those images, and getting copied like that is just wrong. We gotta back them up on this.
