Was dead wrong about AI voice cloning until my buddy used it for a podcast last month

I thought it was all gimmicky garbage until he showed me the 15 minute edit he did where the AI voice matched his cadence perfectly and saved him 4 hours of recording, has anyone else had that moment where tech they dismissed actually worked?

I mean I felt the same way about those AI photo editors til I tried one that actually worked.

Ended up giving one a shot myself @thomasgonzalez and it was way better than I expected for the basic stuff. The key was finding one that didn't try to do too much all at once. Guess sometimes the hype is actually real if you pick the right tool.
