I used to spend an hour running new wire for a door sensor, but now I just use the existing chime wire with a Honeywell 5800MINI and it takes 10 minutes.

What other old-school methods have you guys found a faster wireless fix for?

Yeah @sammartinez is right about the resistor, but wireless PIRs saved me tons of time too.

@samrodriguez, what brand of wireless PIRs did you end up using?
