I used to think the anime section at my local library was just for kids
I stopped by the main branch of the city library last week to grab a book for my nephew, and I ended up wandering into the media section. I always figured their anime collection was just a few old Pokemon DVDs, but I was totally wrong. They had a whole wall, maybe 200 titles, with a lot of recent stuff and even some box sets. I saw the full 'Demon Slayer' Mugen Train arc, 'Jujutsu Kaisen' season one, and a bunch of Studio Ghibli films I didn't even know they had. A librarian told me they started a monthly anime club for teens and adults last fall, and it's been packed. It completely changed my view of where you can find good anime talk and resources; it's not just online or at cons. What's the best place you've found to talk about anime that isn't on the internet?

My local coffee shop has a bulletin board for meetups. Tried joining a manga group there once. Turns out I'm the only one who hasn't read 'One Piece' since 1998.
