Vent: Subbed vs Dubbed arguments are the same 3 points on a loop
I've been in anime discussions for maybe 8 years now and every single time someone brings up subbed versus dubbed I see the exact same comments. The sub people say the original voice acting has more emotion. The dub people say they want to watch the animation not read. Nobody ever adds anything new to this. I sat through a 200 post thread last week where it was just those two sides repeating themselves for two days straight. The worst part is both sides act like this is a deep philosophical debate when it's really just personal preference. Has anyone ever seen a take on this that was actually new or do we just keep cycling through the same script forever?

Honestly, @blair_chen81 it's just people doing this in every hobby, not just anime.

Subs are clearly superior since the original voice direction was actually intentional by the creators, not some localisation team's guess.
