Am I the only one who swapped a washer pump without pulling the drain hose off first?
Flooded a customer's laundry room in Mesa last Tuesday and stood there in 2 inches of water feeling like a rookie. Now I clamp that hose every single time, but did anyone else learn this the hard way or was it just me?

Been there, except mine was a second floor unit so it rained in the kitchen below. Nothing says professional quite like mopping up your own mistake while the customer watches.
