Used to hate stacking photos until I tried Sequator last month

I always thought stacking astro photos was too much work for too little gain. Spent 2 years just taking single shots of the Milky Way and wondering why they looked so noisy. Then a guy on YouTube showed a side by side of a single 30 second exposure vs 20 stacked frames from Sequator. The difference was night and day. I downloaded it that night and stacked 15 photos of Orion from my backyard. The detail in the nebula came out way better than I expected and I didn't even have to buy expensive software. Has anyone else switched to free stacking tools and seen a big improvement?

Used to think stacking was just pixel perfectionists overcomplicating things. Then tried Sequator on a stack of 10 moon shots and the crater detail actually showed up instead of looking like a blurry egg. Kind of had to accept I was wrong about the whole thing.

Did you try adjusting the exposure between shots or just let Sequator handle it all?
