Got my backyard shed organized with a simple pegboard setup last Sunday
My neighbor walked over, pointed at my wall of hanging rakes and hoses, and just said 'why didn't I think of that' - made my whole week.

That pegboard setup really is one of those things that seems obvious once you see it. Spent a good afternoon last month doing the same in my garage and now I can actually find my tools without a ten minute hunt. Best part is how easy it is to rearrange when you get new gear.

Right, @tessaperry, you say that now, but just wait until you buy one new tool and suddenly the whole pegboard needs a redesign because that one socket set throws off your whole flow. Spent a whole hour last week shifting hooks around just because I got a new hammer. It's a good problem to have, I guess, but still a problem.

@tessaperry hit the nail on the head - that rearrangeability is the real magic. Got my own pegboard in the garage and I swear I mess with the layout every couple months just because I find some new hook or bracket that looks like it would work better.
