I bought a cheap plastic shed from a big box store and it turned into a kite

A strong wind in Kansas City last Tuesday picked the whole thing up and dropped it two houses down, my neighbor texted 'your storage is in my roses'. What's the dumbest way you've seen a backyard storage solution fail?

That "storage is in my roses" text is a classic. I learned the hard way that those plastic sheds are basically big lawn bags if you don't anchor them. You gotta use those big ground anchor kits and screw them right into the floor frame, not just the little stakes they give you. Even then, I'd throw a couple of concrete blocks inside on a windy day.

Forget the little stakes, did you actually screw the anchors into the floor frame like you said? I tried that once but the plastic frame cracked when I drilled into it. Ended up having to build a whole wooden base just to have something solid to attach to. Seems like the floor is the weakest part of the whole setup.
