Just hit 100 different totes in my backyard and I think I have a problem
I was moving stuff around last weekend to get to my winter gear and decided to count all the plastic totes I got stacked along the back fence. Hit exactly 100 of them, mostly the big 27 gallon ones from Home Depot. Half of them are full of old camping gear and holiday decorations I haven't touched in like 3 years. Anybody else realize they went overboard with storage containers and need to just purge stuff instead of buying more totes?

Holy crap 100 totes! I thought I was bad but I've only got like 30 stacked in my garage and my wife keeps telling me to stop buying them. I keep finding old Christmas ornaments and half-burned candles from 2015 in mine, stuff I swore I'd use again but never did. The worst part is how many lids don't match anymore because I mix them up every time I stack them. You gotta just start tossing stuff man, I finally did that last month and freed up like 15 totes worth of junk.

Lids don't match anymore" - I felt that in my soul. It's a total free-for-all in my garage too.

Why does everything have to get thrown out though? Some of that old stuff is gold if you actually dig through it. I found a 20 dollar bill in a tote once.
