I almost tossed my whole sourdough project over a cold kitchen
So last weekend I was all set to bake, but my starter looked flat and sad like it gave up. I got worried and almost dumped it, thinking I messed up the feeding routine. Then I remembered reading somewhere about temperature, so I stuck a thermometer in the room and yeah, it was way too chilly. Moving it near the oven while it was off warmed it right up and saved the batch. Seriously, check your room temp before you call it a fail, it's a game changer.

Room temp check is key, learned that the hard way.

Why is it always a temperature issue? I once PANICKED and almost baked my starter thinking it was a lost cause.

Oh man, that temperature thing is such a real struggle. My starter always perks up if I stick it in the oven with just the light on.

Wow, I used to think starters were just fussy until the temp trick saved mine too.
