Bought that fancy magnetic clip holder strip and it ruined 3 of my blades

I saw these magnetic strips for barber clippers all over Instagram and figured they'd look clean on my station. Dropped like $45 on one from a brand I can't even remember now. Two weeks in, one of my favorite Wahl blades fell off while I was grabbing a comb and the corner chipped on the concrete floor. Then I noticed another blade had gotten tiny metal shavings stuck to the magnet that scratched up the cutting edge when I used it next. Lost about $60 worth of blades total from that stupid strip. I'm back to just keeping them in a drawer with a guard on each one. Has anyone else had magnets mess up their blades like this?

Right? "Tiny metal shavings on the magnet" is basically the universe telling you the strip is cursed now. Like, congratulations, you've created a tiny junkyard on a piece of plastic, hope you enjoy picking out microscopic trash for the next three hours. I'd just toss it and pretend it never happened, honestly. Some things are not worth the hassle (or the tetanus shot vibe).
