Spent 45 minutes trying to fade a guy's cowlick before I realized it was just his natural parting
Had this stubborn spot right above his ear that wouldn't blend no matter what guard I used, and after way too long of fighting it I finally just asked him if his hair naturally parts there, and he said yeah it's been like that since middle school.

Watched my buddy spend damn near an hour on a fade for his roommate before realizing the guy had a double crown he never mentioned. He just stood there staring at clippers covered in hair like he lost a war.

Oh man thats hilarious but I've totally been there. 45 minutes is rough though, I woulda been so mad if I figured it out that late. At least you finally asked instead of making it worse. Its crazy how cowlicks and natural parts can look exactly the same when youre trying to fade someone. Feels like you wasted a whole haircut sometimes.
