I finally found a fix for a squeaky shower floor that actually works

I was remodeling my guest bath last month and after laying down new tile, the floor started squeaking like crazy. I thought I messed up the subfloor but turns out it was just the mortar not bonding right in one spot. My neighbor came over and said try drilling a tiny hole and injecting expanding foam under the tile. Worked like a charm and no cracks. Anyone else have a weird fix for creaky bathroom floors?

Classic, I'd probably foam my whole foot to the floor lmao.

Not foam, but I've definitely taken a spill trying to save a foot that had too much wax on it. Sometimes soaking is the safer bet.

Is foaming your whole foot actually a thing people do now? I've only ever seen people foam their soles or toes, not the whole foot. It sounds like it would be a mess trying to foam your entire foot and then trying to walk around. Honestly, I'd probably just skip the foam and go with some good old-fashioned wax or a sticky mat. What do you usually use for grip?
