Was skeptical about heated floors until last winter

I thought heated bathroom floors were just a luxury upcharge thing (you know, for rich people). But I put in a Ditra Heat system during my remodel in January and honestly it's the best thing I did. Now walking to the shower at 5 AM doesn't feel like stepping onto an ice rink. Has anyone else tried the Schluter system or did you go with something cheaper?

Oh no, kitchen sounds like overkill to me, just get a pair of slippers.
