That time I forecasted a tornado in Kansas City four hours before the weather service
I was sitting in my basement in Overland Park around 3 PM last June watching the sky turn this weird green color. My grandpa who farmed in Oklahoma his whole life told me once that green sky plus sudden stillness means trouble within a few hours. I posted on a local forum about it and people laughed until the sirens went off at 7:15 PM. Has anyone else picked up on a weird local weather sign that felt like prediction?

My uncle predicted rain by how loud his knee popped, and he was right way too often for it to be a coincidence.

My grandpa had something similar with his shoulder. Every time it started aching bad, a storm was coming within 12 hours, he was right maybe 4 out of 5 times. I figure all that old scar tissue from a logging accident just got real sensitive to pressure changes in the air. It's weird how the body picks up on stuff our brains don't notice.

Guess his knee's a better weather app than mine, @ericcraig, and mine just creeps me out.
