Rant: Tried a $12 carbon assembly paste from a discount site and it seized a seatpost
It was supposed to prevent slipping, but after a week in the humid garage, it bonded like glue. Anyone have a reliable brand that won't weld parts together?

Is it really the paste or just how it was put on? Lucasw84 is right about Park Tool, but even good stuff can lock up if you use way too much. That humidity probably just sped up a bad job.

Cheap paste can work fine if you apply it right.
