Finally took a friend's advice about skipping the recap episodes
My buddy kept telling me I was wasting time watching the 'previously on' parts at the start of every episode. I used to think I'd miss something important if I skipped them. After like 20 hours of binge watching a 6 season show, I finally just started hitting the 'skip intro' button every time. It saves maybe 2 minutes per episode but over a whole series that adds up to a real chunk of time. Has anyone else noticed how much time those intros and recaps eat up?

The skip button is literally my best friend now, my thumb basically has its own reflex for it at this point. Though honestly, my dumb brain still panics for a second thinking I missed some crucial plot point, then realizes the recap was just showing me stuff from 5 minutes ago. Guess I traded 45 minutes of my life for 45 minutes of anxiety, so really it's a wash.

Oh man, you're so right about that time adding up! I did the math on my last binge and realized I was sitting through like 45 minutes of recaps and intros across the entire series. That's basically a whole episode I could have watched instead. Now I just mash that skip button so fast it almost breaks the remote.
