I finally cracked the code on slow buildup shows after a boring flight to Chicago

I was stuck on a 3 hour delay at O'Hare and gave 'The Leftovers' another shot after hating it the first time. Anyone else find a show clicks only after a second try under specific circumstances?

Are you stuck in a delay right now, @torres.blair? I feel you SO much on this. I had a 5 hour layover in Denver last month and I was practically BEGGING for anything interesting to happen.
